LOOT may put convenient horses at the begining of your LOOT order and that's what it usually does. although the mod author didn't mention it convenient horses needs to be as close to the end as possible just before the patches and the other mods that specifically mentionned that they should be at the end otherwise it won't work properly.

also, did you follow correctly the instructions to install all of your mods? what mod manager are you using? is your skyrim up to date?

and lastly did you try "setStage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1" (without " )

I tried both of those things.

By the way, I'm just asking everywhere, so that someone out there will respond with something that will help. If there's a solution, hopefully I'll get it. But I'll be more patient next time and only reply to one place.

I'm using NMM, and I think my Skyrim's up to date. At least Steam is up to date, and I think Steam automatically updates everything.

Sorry, I fixed it; I got the wrong version of Convenient Horses, sort of, it's kind of hard to explain.

Currently there is a race between skyrim beta builds and skse versions. Throw in an update for skyui and you end with such things.

Personally I would disable skyrim updates, wait until skse has a working version for your skyrim version and than update skyui.

maybe update...

as far as i know most mods, including skyui require 1.9.3....

I think it says that on the description

EDIT :: Sky UI itself does not but SKSE DOES

Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE)

by Ian Patterson, Stephen Abel and Paul Connelly (ianpatt, behippo and scruggsywuggsy the ferret)

Current build 1.7.3: install via steam - installer - 7z archive (readme, whatsnew, latest forum thread)

Having trouble extracting the archive? Install via Steam, use the installer, or download 7-zip. DO NOT USE ANYTHING FROM THE WINDOWS APP STORE.

archived builds - please do not link directly to these

If you are having trouble with the installation instructions, please watch this video.

Compatibility:

SKSE will support the latest version of Skyrim available on Steam, and only this version (currently 1.9.32.0.*). It is extremely unlikely that any future Skyrim updates will be released.
