I've been stuck for days now trying to find a way to install mods on my mac for Skyrim and so far nothing has worked. Could anyone please give me a step by step for installing mods into my Skyrim?

Please and thank you!

you have to go to %User Profile%-Local Settings-Application Data-Skyrim. Then you need to make a plugins.txt folder and put the name of the .esp or .bsa folders in that file.[.esp goes before .bsa]

the order in which .esp and .bsa is, does not matter. What does matter is the loading order of your plugins, which is {Updates-patches-mods}.

Skyrim works fine on mac - If you are using a legal Steam version AND you are using a program like Boot Camp to run Windows programs on your MAC. In that case - there is no difference between using mods on the legal version on MAC with Bootcamp and the Legal version on PC - However, using a pirate version on either one WILL cause problems. And, we do not support any except the legal version whether you have a PC or MAC. Yes, Steam does work on a MAC using bootcamp for PC games.

Using bootcamp or a similar program you can run ANY PC program on a MAC just as if it were a PC. Using a 'wrapper' or emulator, only that single game or program, and usually only that specific version of the game or program. If the game is updated - you will have to wait on a new version of the wrapper to use any new features or mods that rely on that newer version.

Pirates will be banned.
