Skarburn
Hey there all,So I am not really a big mod creator at all, but I did make this mod some time back:https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65624It's a very simple mod where I just made new item files and replaced them in the ancient armor as the original mod did a bunch of stuff I didn't like and I wanted to have it exactly like in vanilla. This works in SE without issue, but for some reason when I make a bashed patch the headpiece reverts back to the original hood. Does anyone know why this happens and how I can fix it? The model in the inventory is still correct, but when equipped it shows the normal hood. I just ain't that familiar with Wrye Bash and how to look for a fix for this so figured I'd ask you guys. Thanks in advance!
IsharaMeradin
When you run the bashed patch and let it blindly check the boxes, you'll get things like graphics, text and other stuff carried over from an earlier mod that had the associated bash tag. Any mod following that edits the same record will lose its change (if any) to that particular field. Typically, I find that the unofficial patch is the "culprit" in cases like this. Your solution(s) are as follows:1. Not select "import graphics" when building the bashed patch.2. Add the bash tag for graphics to your plugin. You can add bash tags in a number of ways. 1. If you know the tag or tags, you can add it to the plugin's description field as in this example from USSEP: {{BASH:C.Acoustic,C.Climate,C.Encounter,C.ForceHideLand,C.ImageSpace,C.Light,C.Location,C.LockList,C.Music,C.Name,C.Owner,C.Water,Delev,Graphics,Invent,Keywords,Names,Relev,Sound,Stats,Text}} 2. You can also open up Wrye Bash, highlight the plugin, right click on the Bash panel on the right hand side and select the desired tags.
