Dr.Evol Posted August 7, 2003 Posted August 7, 2003 Hey, I'm pretty new to morrowind and I have a bad habit. I seem to enjoy going around and killing people in thier houses. Now what worries me is that maybe I will need those people in a quest later on. Should I worry about this??
DragoonFurey Posted August 7, 2003 Posted August 7, 2003 If you ask them about their trade first and the say commoner theres a 99% chance they have nothing to do with any of the quests, still you should make several save game files if your going to go around killing people. if you really enjoy killing people for loot then I suggest raiding all the smuggler caves and old dunmer forts - those big rectangular structures with people in them that try to kill you on sight.
Peregrine Posted August 7, 2003 Posted August 7, 2003 If you kill anyone necessary for the main quest, you'll get a message telling you this and that you need to restore a save game if you want to continue the main story. Of course minor quests of the "take this item to person x and get 50 gold" don't do this, so you shouldn't kill anyone that doesn't attack you if you want to be sure you can do every quest in the game.

tmons78 Posted August 7, 2003 Posted August 7, 2003 Or, if you still just like going around and killing people, why not become a vampire? Then you can kill just about anyone as long as you don't want to do any other quests. You could make one character a straight up killer, and have another one for doing other things. The possibilities are endless.
Omega6 Posted August 7, 2003 Posted August 7, 2003 I always save my game in a new slot before i go off on a killing spree... (once i wiped out the entire population of Balmora because i had a bad day)
