darkdill Posted March 14, 2013 Share Posted March 14, 2013 I am really interested in using that Pure Waters mod that Gopher spotlighted recently, but I noticed in its compatibility section that it is NOT compatible with Climates of Tamriel, which I also use. A real shame, because Pure Waters looks good. Just to make it an official request, does anyone think they might be able to come up with a compatibility patch so that Pure Waters will work with CoT? It's not on the list of incompatible mods mentioned on CoT mod description page and Pure Waters' page only mentions that CoT causes shorelines to look a little out of place - but this will only affect the very edge of the water as the transparency effect wasn't fully considered within CoT settings. Even Gopher stated the issue, but it's a small one so I wouldn't not use both mods together just for this reason. To rewrite CoT to be compatible is not only a job for the CoT author to either do or allow another member to do, but a lot of work would have to be done to provide the fix to the extent where some weather settings would need completely rewriting.
