ferocticsniper Posted March 15, 2013 Share Posted March 15, 2013 I play skyrim on pc and have installed many mods. I have noticed that I am running pretty low on space. Can I delete the mods in the nexus mod manager folder since they are already in the skyrim folder. For example, if I delete the deadly dragon archive from the nexus mod managar folder, will the mod also be deleted even though its also in the skyrim folder? I use steam if that makes a difference! Please help I'm running low on space but don't want to lose the mods. Do I really need to keep those archives in the nexus mod manager folder for the mods to work or can I just delete them now? starfire42 Posted March 15, 2013 Share Posted March 15, 2013 Deleting the original mod files won't remove them from the game, but it will prevent NMM from ever uninstalling them (you'd have to go in and manually delete the files, assuming you could find out which files they were).
