FalloutIII2013
Is their any way to search Mods by there file number (e.g. Fat Man Giant Nuke by Tony007 File# 644 or <http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/644#content>. Reason I ask is because when I download mods and archive for later use, some mod attachements do not explain what exactly the mod is (e.g. SW-Fix-7893) unless I downloaded and installed the mod at the time of looking it up. Some of the acronyms also do not help unless you've been making an acronym list that I've been using to decipher mod titles. In the above case I do know what this file is for since I've had to categorize my mods by the File#s in which this file belongs to the Workbench Repair mod by ???I forget. Some of my other mod files are not as easy to decipher. Another idea could be a file naming convention that everyone follows regardless of attachement (e.g. patch, update, main...)? P.S. I can share my acronym list or maybe it can be posted in a common place for people to download/see/add to? It is not that big yet for I started FO3 this year (2013)
Ranx31
Well, it's pretty easy to re-find the mods you're uncertain about. Every file you DL from the Nexus will have it's mod number tagged onto the end of the file's name. So, to find any mod quickly that you want to look at to get it's description, etc. you would enter the following into your browser's address bar: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/xxxxx In every case, you would substitute the mod's number for the 'xxxxx' sequence. In your example that would be 644. Afterward, you would then only have to change the number for each mod file you want to check out by highlighting the mod number in the address bar and then typing a different number. I know it works cuz that's how I keep track of a number of mods quickly... So there ya go! Edited March 16, 2013 by Ranx31
