nyourcomp
Here we go, while over the last few months I have learned a decent amount concerning this whole modding thing, I still am relatively new to this as I know there is a vast amount of stuff I could (and should) learn about these. Keeping that in mind here is my delima: I have managed to get Skyrim SE up and running fairly smoothly on my laptop. That is to say I have managed to get the desired mods to function correctly for the most part and everything seems to work as intended. I know there is a lot of tweeking that I can do to make it all look much better and perform better but ill get to all that in time. That being said, I am trying to get the same set up on my desktop computer and I can NOT for the life of me get this damn thing to work. Here is what I have done; I began with a base vanilla game and then started the game. Everything loads just fine.I install Vortex, got the all the exact same mods all loaded up, installed and deployed, (I saved every mod I use to a single file as I downloaded them and put them on a flash drive. Then loaded them to vortex directly from this drive to both computers) got the file conflicts dealt with, ect. got it all done in vortex.Installed skse64 exactly the same way as in the laptopEven though many say its not needed with vortex I ran LOOT for good measure Run FNIS and received no warning or errors. Hit play via the skse executable and it spins for a few seconds and then NOTHING!go back to the vanilla executable via steam app and again NOTHING!now the game wont load at all! What the crap is the deal here?! Any help I can get with would GREATLY appreciated. Just please tell me what i need to provide and how i would go about doing so, so you can evaluate what Ive got going on here to see what I did wrong
HeyYou
Look in event viewer (windows utility) and see if anything in the logs presents itself. SKSE *might* have a log as well.....
