SofiaValika
Hello! Well, I know it might be a strange request, and I anticipate the reaction telling me to not do it if it doesn't suits me, but I know temptation would be too strong for me if I just need to press F5 and F9 to savescum. So what I'd like would be a way to prevent save scum, most notably preventing me from reloading until I pickpocket everything an NPC has, but also to prevent me from doing the same until I pull THE perfect shot on an enemy. So, would it be possible to create a token that is required to save, is a quest item, and have a configurable supply of them replenished every x in game days, while preventing a stockpiling, and also a "suspend game" feature that lets me create a save when quitting the game and destroying it when I load it? Thanks in advance!
TheHaggis
I'm interested in this as well. Possibly a nvse mod that sets how many saves you're allowed to make in a 24 hour period. Would love compatibility with CASM as well, as I can't play without that mod.
Gribbleshnibit8
There's no way I know of to delete a save via script. Overwrite, yes, but not delete. So that second part won't work quite as you would like. I'm not sure there's an easy way to disable the Save option without editing the pause menu xml files.I made a quick mod just for this that disables those keys. Check it out here. laclongquan
There's ingame method to prevent abuse F5-F9. They are called bugs, and accidentally getting past the point of no return. The bugs are pretty strange, and sometimes the only method to go around them is to load a save WAY back when. If you use quicksave and autosave only, this will teach you many a lesson until you learn. And the game allow many liberties, so you can try many thing that strike your fancy. Kill that door greeter at the energy weapon shop? Whoop, why the hell do they shoot at me even though I sneak kill him? Helloooo~ hidden check. And the only way to not get caught killing him is to not kill him until you really must. Once a player got caught in those many situation as above, they will deinstall your mod so fast it doesnt leave a trace on their folder. Save many, save often, and sometimes you should go to saves folder to copy pasta the whole thing to another location or just zip them as backup.
