legogod
Personally, I wish they'd hurry up with matter transportation so I can go home to England a lot easier. :)It would destroy you and create a copy in England. No thanks, I'll walk.

LHammonds
How about remote-controlled robots used for combat and what the human sees is something akin to a computer game? Warfare becomes a game of Virtual Reality for a real MechWarrior. Nah...that is old skool thinking...we have fully automated robotic killers right now that can work together in packs to hunt and destroy. How about Quantum Computers that can break any code on the planet in a matter of seconds? Something like this would completely destroy trust in online transactions. How about bringing back Dinosaurs and other extinct species using DNA manipulation and cloning? I have read somewhere that the DNA code between an elephant and a woolly mammoth was so similar that the DNA of an elephant could be manipulated to create a mammoth rather than relying on mammoth DNA cloning. ** shrug ** Biofuel Web 3.0 Nanotechnology Computer Power / Graphics getting closer to the point where virtual environments / actors can be controlled by actors to create real-time cartoons and movies with the FX power of computers. Today's computers have to pre-render photo-quality FX. Cybernetics - I would love to have the ability to "download" a book and gain all the knowledge of it in a matter of seconds like in the Matrix movies. ;) Sign me up! wasder
Cloned Beef Bull Man, there is some interesting stuff out there.Similar to this, a few years back someone grew a steak and ate it in public as art or something. Apparently it tasted horrible.
