Alpaca22
I don't know if this is possible yet but in general it sound simple enough- I hope. Can we have mod to let us choose V's native language? The localization have V and everyone speak in different language, but I was hoping to have V's voice only option and let every other NPCs and stuff stay in English to keep things interesting and role-playing purpose. Alrightwhatsupfellas
Buump! I love v's voice in my native tongue better than the english version, but I also prefer a lot of the other characters' english voices. Maybe if the game has v's sound files as a separate file it could be simple.

cyden
This wouldn't be for me but even I would admit it could fit in lore too.. given how many of the world npc's speak different languages and translated in subtitles (by your Cyberware)
deairi
Just looked into doing this myself after hearing Russian V compared to English. However, it's not an easy project, at least with current tools (we'll see if WolvenKit helps in the coming months).Theoretically, one could just grab V's voice files from one of the other languages, and just overwrite the English ones and not mess with changing the way the game calls audio files. The problem is finding which files are which at the moment, as for right now, all we can do is unpack the .archives and get a big list of .wem files with non-descriptive names. So even just finding out which files are voice files would require a bunch of converting .wem to some listenable format, then trial and error to find which are V's voice files for each installed pack. ALL of the audio files, even other languages, look like they're in the same .archive, and not sorted in any way. Until someone figures out which files are called when by the game, or does all the trial and error to deobfuscate the filenames, I don't see this is a viable mod, sadly.I'm a pretty new modder though, so maybe someone else can figure out a way. Here's hoping.
