Xbox controller

I got the idea this morn' that I will make a USB adapter for my Xbox controller so I can use it as a joystick. I souldered all of the wires together and it runs fine and everything.

Here's the problem:

I'm playing Vice City and I want to look around, but sadly the right stick only moves me just like the left.

I set it to be used as the "hat" but to no avail.

Has anyone else had the same problem? (a solution would be helpful too!)

On a side note: I'm now able to use it to transfer files to my Xbox. :D :D (like MechInstaller!)

Check that out here.

you souldered everything by yourself????? lol

how do you do that? like i know you need a soulrding gun but like i dont get the rest

and maybe it doesnt work because you souldered the wores wrong no offense but to me it seems kinda hard.

No, I know I soldered everything correctly because everything works fine.

I'm just wondering if there is some setting I can fool around with that will make the right joy stick act like the mouse. (moves the view around)

Umm, probably not, because I don't think many people have done that before. :P

Anyway, just wait. Microsoft will most likely be releasing a USB Controller S. In their press conference at E3, they stated that users will soon be able to play an MMORPG [i can't remember the title] on either a pc or XBox, using either a keyboard or Xbox controller. Watch the press conference. It's on the E3 Access DVD. Buy it. Now. Or be forever in the dark.

I'm not wasting anything because I use it a lot now.

I don't use the controller itself, I use the breakaway cable.

I'll make you one if you want Biljo, just buy a breakaway cord and a USB cord.
