ACatNamedHarold
About half way through my run, my Perception, which is suppose to be 6, has randomly and permanently been to reduced to 1. My effects tab shows I have no perception loss. I have deduced that it has been reduced by at least 10 because I have given myself boosters of +5 Perception and it is still at 1 Perception in my S.P.E.C.I.A.L. tab and my skills are still affected. I wouldn't mind using a console command to just give me 10 perception when I need my lockpick to not be -10 from its original skill, but a real fix would be ideal. The only trait I have is wild wasteland.
ZephyrFive
Anybody poke out one of your eyes? I remember that was a thing in one of the original Fallouts.
laclongquan
Have onetime bug similar to it. Loss of every implant perk effect. They are still there on perk page, but no effect. No way to know if there's any other loss. So I remove perk and manually add them back. use setav Perception X to set that stat at that basic level. modav Perception to add that bonus to it. MattyDienhoff
You didn't get flashbanged, did you? A friend of mine got all their combat skills stuck at 0 after Lonesome Road because a flashbang's effect didn't wear off. I guess it would effect PER as well. ACatNamedHarold
Thank you very much laclongquan, the script worked and as a funny anecdote, I had to raise my Perception to 21 to get it back to an effective 6. And, Matt, I don't have Lonesome Road so that isn't an option.
laclongquan
The console is a great tool to overcome bugs. And to play the game whichever way you like. I like my Angela Bishop wearing a sexy nightwear. But I like the +1 Luck from the horrible Naughty nightwear too. Instead of search a mod, or worse, messing with geck, I just mod +1 to luck and -1 to Charisma. And limit myself to just wear sexy nightwear alone. One must wonder how the guys with xbox and ps3 fare, considering the bugs.
