vlaka
So I took over the bandit fort near Riften, killed a Dawnguard patrol which decided to patrol into it (thanks to immersive patrols mod) looted them while some adventurers came strolling in (thanks to ERSO) killed them and as I went to retrieve my glorious loot I notcied all the bandits and the Dawnguard were naked O_o I've noticed this happen pretty often, and to npc's which have been killed recently. Is this some limitation of the Skyrim engine or is there a setting I need to alter/remove in my .ini files? Has anyone come across this weird bug/glitch??
Georgiegril
I'm guessing it is a mod conflict, rather than something with the skyrim engine or an .ini setting. The first thing I would do is go to the mod pages of all the mods you are using that affect enemy spawns/ai, and read the description and the discussion thread to see if it is a known conflict and/or if your mods are compatible with each other. If you can't find anything, then I think you may have to start basic mod troubleshooting--though with mods that have scripts, the chance of causing more problems with removal can be pretty high, even sometimes if you are excruciatingly careful. I wonder if there is a way you could observe what happens in one of these multi-group conflicts? Is it possible that the enemies or one of your followers is looting the bodies and the missing armor is in their inventory?
vlaka
yeah thats what I was thinking, that maybe my followers were looting them but i've checked the dead bodies and they have armour in their inventory but it's not equipped (if that makes sense haha) Ive noticed it also happens when I leave an area where I havent looted a body (its clothed) and come back to the same area and theyre naked. Georgiegril
Huh. sounds like it has to be mod-related, then.If you post your BOSS log I'll see if anything sticks out to me (or maybe someone else will notice something.)

Georgiegril
Download BOSS GUI with installer from this page. (its a regular program, you install to your desktop or the like) . Open the program, make sure the option so wee the log in text file is toggled on.Run the program, and the BOSS log will appear as a pop-up.If you click the wiki button on the top of the main Nexus Mods page, you will find more info on BOSS, if you need it.
