DungeonDoctor
Hey yall, I'm new to Skyrim modding, and I've tried doing whatever I can, but so far, nothing's working. I've installed some mods (around 71 ish) and, I tried to launch SKSE64 (I use a desktop shortcut), and it worked! So after a small tad of playing, I got off, played some "Don't Starve", and tried to get back on using SKSE64, but... nothing. The command console thing that pops up before loading it shows for a split second, then nothing. SKSE64 doesn't load. So, I tried launching regular SKSE through Steam. Once again, it didn't work. Finally, I went into the Program Files Directory itself and tried to use the SKSE.exe file itself. Nothing. Does anyone know why this happens, or if I just.... Have to uninstall and reinstall Skyrim? Many thanks in advance! Edit: I just realized I used "are" instead of "aren't." That's my bad, I don't know how to edit titles, if you even can, so sorry. 7531Leonidas
I am not any kind of expert, but you might try looking at skse64.log. It might have info on something that is not loading properly. Unless you changed the default locations somehow during installation, you should be able to find it in the \Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE. There might be a separate log folder in the My Games\Skyrim Special Edition folder, as well.
DoctorKaizeld
well you are in the Skyrim forums not the SE ones so I will point out you would have the wrong version of SKSE if you have the 64 exe
