Hiding body parts when using Armors without conflicts?

Forgive me if this is in the wrong place but basically, I have zero experience but I'm trying to do something very simple. I'm trying to edit this old armor mod to make it so all the normal character body parts disappear, leaving just the armor/cosmetics. Or possibly making it into a race mod? I don't know, I just want to play as a skeleton man without armor conflicts. tyty, in advance. <3 <3 xoxo

This is not something you primarily deal with in the GECK, but rather using 'Image Tools'. Please see the 'Issue: Body Replacer - Custom Body Types' and related 'Body Replacer -' entries under the 'Solutions to Graphics problems' section of the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" article for the basic concepts.

Good luck with your learning journey. While not as simple (as in "quick") as you appear to believe, this project is well within the capabilities of someone starting out. Later you will want to look at the "Custom items", "Custom Creatures", "Spawning modded items", "Armor and Clothes", "Blender Mesh Editor", "Conversions", and "NifSkope Mesh Editor" sections of the wiki "Getting started creating mods using GECK" article.

Are there any tutorials for this? I tried to follow some PDF tutorials but many of them make assumptions on what I should know. I managed to get all the way past the set-up and have an older Blender version with the nif addon, but I can't figure out how to "delete armatures" and even move the camera for example. Many of them are also head focused, and they end as if I know how to compile the files into something I can put on Nexus Mods. Edited by arigam

Here is a link to the Blender 2.49 manual: https://archive.blender.org/wiki/index.php/Doc:2.4/Manual/

When you open blender, move the mouse to clear the title image. Then press the "a" key twice. This will highlight the cube, light and the other thing. Make sure all three are outlined in pink. Then press "m". A grid will appear with 20 boxes in it. Left mouse click on one of the boxes (I use the tenth box) and click "OK". This will move the objects to that box/page.

You can now import your .nif without anything interfering with it.
