Installed mods, doesn't show up in game?

Hi.

 

I just downloaded, installed and activated a bunch of mods. But when I started a new game, I don't think they are active in the game? Every single one was "ticked in" and I started a whole new game.

 

I'm not 100% certain they aren't working, but the game doesn't look any better than it did a year ago when I last played it, without any enhancing mods?

 

I also have oher mods activated, more weapons, better looking armor, enhanced companions etc.

 

How can I check that everything is working?

 

I don't want to spend 10 hours playing, only to realize to 100% that none of the mods are activated and working - only to having to start all over again :)

So first: when you say "ticked in," does that mean you're using NMM? Also, when you installed the mods, did you activate them through NMM to the point that they had green checkmarks to say that they were activated? Is your options menu directed at the correct Skyrim folder?

Go to

 

(Your profile)/ documents/ my games/ skyrim / and open "SkyrimPrefs.ini"

 

Seek for "Launcher" and add now seek for this

 

bEnableFileSelection=0

 

change it to this

 

bEnableFileSelection=1

 

and when you start up the game, be sure to enable your mods in the "Data Files" Also, Check for load order. from now on you may get many CTD's (Crash to Deskop), it happens if you're new at using mods , so be carefull
