I would be happy if they would just add a light node onto the some of the vehicles themselves, seeing as there are quite a few that have a glow of headlights reflecting from the ground but no visible headlights on the cars.

Yup, the headlights need improvement. Some also have weird patterns... The Rattler has a circular low beam that looks like a spot light but the high beam seems fine.

 

On a related note, dynamic gain for Crystal Dome cars would be awesome, too. One early interview mentioned Nomad cars not using headlights because the Crystal Dome had night vision.

Resurrecting this thread from the dead.

 

While there's a mod for 'brighter' headlights (which are way too bright IMO) theres still no mods for customization of angle, cone, color, cutoff, etc. Its such an untapped oppty especially with RT overdrive now out. (emissives).

 

I'd love to see a mod similar to what some modders did for GTA, simulating HID / Xenon headlights with a proper cutoff and plasma line (like high end cars IRL). They were a simple texture file (.ytd if I recall) that you could extract and edit in MSPaint, and then pop back into the game and looked incredible. Different era, different engine though.

 

Anyone have any idea if something similar is possible in CP77?
