Shubal
1.9 lurks in Steam waiting for me to go on line mode. I've downloaded the new SKSE but haven't installed yet. Which do I activate first? This is my first major steam update And I've heard legends of Mods going silent for a period of days. Should I wait for another extended period before swallowing 1.9? Do all mods have to adapt themselves and be downloaded and upgraded again?
CyricD
I'd wait. I let steam and Skyrim update, then downloaded and installed the latest SKSE. Now I get a view of the logo then a CTD... Still trying to figure out where the problem is.
chazzranger
Auto-update hit me this morning, couldn't play at all. Updated SKSE to the beta and I've been playing fine all day, no issues so far. Had also very recently updated all my mods that had updates available.
CyricD
Well, mine turned out to be a conflict with a mod called 'marriable serane hf'. At least, it seemed to be. I was going through turning them on and off, and having just that one off seems to have fixed my crash problem. For now lol
Shubal
Bit the bullet, downloaded the new SKSE it said I needed the new update, got it. SKSE doesn't recognize it and won't open the game. So...............................................? The trick to the quest after the update is to start the first game up in steam. It added a file and now I can start again through ATTK....yea! You would think they would provide a unique weapon or something for completing the 1.9 upgrade quest. Jason2112
Yes, Just happen to get a Steam update and a Skyrim update at the same time.that trigged a SKSE update. Updates should be done in that order. ATTK will never need an update. If you set things to not update automatically. It's a step wise process to update. Steam update via Steam menu. Then a right-click on Skyrim (in Steam) to turn on updates. Update SKSE then run Skyrim via Steam once. This will totally get you up to date ... You then can turn off your updates again. ATTK will run like a champ again after that. Edited March 20, 2013 by Jason2112
