Issues with ANY follower mods! :(

I've recently uninstalled all of my mods and and re-installed Skyrim. After Installing the mods that I found I liked the most thus far, I have had issues activating or using UFO. I tried to remedy the situation by looking to another mod; AFT. But unfortunately, neither of them will work. I'm not sure what is wrong because I had UFO working before. When I launch the game, I make sure everything is checked (activated) both within the NMM and the data files box on the launch screen. While in the game all other mods seem to work. I've tried re-installing many times, and I've tried changing the order of my mods. I have Dawnguard installed (Specifically to use assault rifle mod) with update 11. 64 bit. Windows 7. I run the game without steam.

Buy a legit copy and then you will not have to use pirated updates.
