fwefwef Posted January 1, 2021 Share Posted January 1, 2021 So, i came across a mod that removes the ability of some creatures to open doors, its a cool ideia, a mirelurk or a feral ghoul clearly can't open a door, but sure they could just destroy the lock and open it anyway, here comes my SUGGESTION.Put something like a HP bar on doors and a certain amount of damage to each creature, you can use their atack animation on the door and when the HP ends they just normaly open it, each type of door could have a different amount of hp scalling with enemy damage and so on. For quest doors that requires keys or simply loot doors we could add a different behavior so it doesn't give you advantage for the sake of balance (or add it as an option), if the door has been damaged we can add a checkbox like in the older games to repair the door (requiring materials and perks), and also recover the locks HP when the cell resets, imagine having a little extra time in survival mode to recover hp while a pack of ferals are trying to destroy the door behind you? that would be awesome!Some quick questions:is it possible to do something like this?if it is possible, is it too much work?do something like this already exists and my google skills suck?will you excuse me for my bad english?
