catalyst_ext
There are three "Chimarvamidium" in Morrowind. Once you got one of them, you should complete the first part of the quest. Now, for the second part (return the book) you will have to put it in the chest where Sirilonwe's Chimarvamidium was. do you know any of the places apart from Sirilownes chest in the Vivec Mages Guild or where to find out? Dijas, just because there are three copies of the book listed in the Count field of the editor does not mean that there are three copies available. One of those copies is in Toddtest, which is unreachable to those on Xbox, nd the other is in random loot and lacks a definite location.
Dijas
Mmmm... it was good to know that. Thanks, cmac. Looks like he needs a bit more than luck to actualy find the other copy :)
Narynzine
Looks like a bookseller crawl is in order. Try the towns you visit most often first ^_^ Just be glad it's a book and not some armor, they can't equip books when you sell them, whereas if you sell clothes or armor they tend to put them on and the only way to get it back is to kill them. Anywho, good luck with the book search :)
cmac
Looks like a bookseller crawl is in order. Try the towns you visit most often first ^_^ By all that is good and pure! Does no one read the above posts? I just said, and repeated for Dijas, that the only available copy of the book is in Sirlonwe's chest. The ONLY other copies are in random loot and lack a definite location or in Toddtest.
NCBeachBum
I believe the point was to find the seller to whom it was sold in order to buy it back, cmac. Hence the 'just be glad it wasn't armor you sold them' part.
catalyst_ext
i've decided to leave the main quest for last so i havent been to all that many places. sandrith mora, seyda neen, balmora, vivec (mages guild and temple), caldera, tel branora (briefly), hla oad, pelagiad. thats all i think. i've checked all the merchants in most of them. in sandrith mora i found the other book in the chest with it [breathing water](it was with a merchant i had sold it to) so i looked around sandrith mora to those who i had traded to. is it possible that even though i sold it to them, i cant buy it back? i guess i could just not do hers but yeah.
catalyst_ext
(...) One of those copies is in Toddtest, which is unreachable to those on Xbox (..) also, where is toddtest and why is it inaccessible on the xbox?
Switch
It should be possible to buy anything back provided you sold it to them in the first place. Unless of course you sold them armour/clothing/weapons that were better than their current equipment at the time in which case they'd equip them rather than keep them for selling. But that wouldn't be the case with books. As for ToddTest, it's just one of the cells they used during testing, or just put there for fun. Same with the Clutter Warehouse. The reason they're inaccessible to XBox players is because they're not connected to the world in any way. You have to use the console, a tool only included with the PC version, to teleport there.
