theswitchboard
I had an idea for a power armor variant that might include some custom modelling and texturing. I actually do alot of work on Unity 3d products, and I'm experienced in modelling, so that is not an issue. What is the level of complexity involved in successfully creating a high-quality fallout armor mod (like that horse one available on the store?) This will help me asses whether or not its worth it. Next up, is there a good Discord I could join? Or is spamming this place good enough?
Buffet
Just gonna throw it out there that the texturing workflow in Fallout 4 is incredibly bad if you're using something like substance painter. The shaders will always be way off. It uses a bizarre Spec/Gloss that basically never works quite the way you'd like, just in my experience.
