Well until the Author of "Cabbage in a pot" brings his wonderful mod back I went ahead and added my 2 Cabbages in a bucket mod.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33771

I hope everyone enjoys the mod! took me forever to create. hehehe

At this point though, the cabbage has gone Dwermer and its original use and value lost.

Thats fine by me lol. I dont care if it gets used or not. If it gives the trolls something to complain about then it does its job. if in the game you make some cabbage soup. It did its job.

*Edit, Also after eating all that cabbage you will need that bucket to squat on for a few if you know what i mean lol.

I think the biggest whine was that it was on the hotfiles list and as a supposed "joke" mod, they were upset that the mod was taking the place of some other mod that supposedly deserved it. As a community run site (yes we run it with out uploaded content), isn't it up to us the users what gets on the hot files list? I am modder who hasn't had a single file get up on the hot files list (Im not campaigning, and I don't really care all that much), so I had no complaints about the mod.

I believe one of the rules on this site is that if you dont like it, dont use it, and dont make a big stink about it on the comments. 100 people downloaded that wandering cabbage in a pot, and I think only 4 people were on that page griping about it. I was on that page talking and having fun for a long time, so I got a good sense of how many complainers there were (not many at all).

One persons waste of space is anothers fun and enjoyment.

After reading Lisn's post, I feel like my comment is a bit redundant... lol

It shows what can happen when one person can't break the immersion of being a Thalmor Justadickular. We all know what the Thalmor need.

Just wanted to add my support for this campaign. I feel jokes should be excluded from the Bogus files category. I personally keep my game lore-friendly but when I see these 'joke' mods it makes me happy to be part of such a relaxed and creative community. My personal favorite mod title was "Change all children to talking dogs"! When the Gang Nam Style thing was happening I was really impressed by how quickly people brought out mods to include it.

If a mod is not offensive or does not contain viruses or have a malicious intent it should remain on the nexus. (IMHO!)

I think it's looking like the author pulled it himself. Whether he did it because of the negative backlash from the SERIOUS BUSINESS modders, or if he did it while cackling maniacally at having duped a heap of nerds into endorsing a gag mod, is still uncertain.
