[Suggestion] Translation autorization in the permission list.

It's a trully simple suggestion. Nowadays, the permission list conteins:

* Other user's assets.

* Upload permission.

* Modification permission.

* Conversion permission.

* Asset use permission.

* Asset use permission in mods/files that are being sold.

* Asset use permission in mods/files that earn donation points.

* Console modding permission.

A new point could be added:

*Translating permission - You are (or not) allowed to translate the appropriate files of this mod giving all the credits to the original author.

The reason is that I am still waiting for a lot of authorizations, and it's logical, modders have much more to do than respond to me. :laugh:

Generally we permit translations as long as they are only a patch for the existing mod (and not an entire reupload of it).

If users must download the original file to use your translation then it means the original mod will still get downloads and page views.

From our ToS: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/28-file-submission-guidelines

Language translations should be submitted only as an addition that works in conjunction with the original file and you should link to the original file as a mirror or in your file description. Translations that include content from the original mod without permission may be subject to moderation and will be removed if requested by the original file author(s).

Sadly, sometimes is an entire reupload because many mods only have one fine...

It depends on which mod you're trying to translate. Based on your profile you translate Bethesda games, so you can ALWAYS make a patch that depends on the original mod file - although as this takes up a load order slot you can always ask to upload a full replacer.
