Is it possible to have Depth of Field (DOF) without ENB?

Dynavision isn't an ENB, and only uses the skyrim engine to change how the Depth of Field works. As for SSAO, that is one of the whole points of an ENB, is to add ssao. You could try http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31 and see if you like it, but as the mod author says, it isn't a game mod, as much as a display driver mod.

For DOF and SSAO you can either follow the advice above, or if you want an ENB that only provides DOF and SSAO (that leaves lighting untouched) then I'd recommend this...

This ENB only provides better shadows and DOF, but you can enable SSAO in the enbseries.ini if you want this in preference to nVidias method.

I know this is a pretty late response, but I stumbled on this, today. Using ENB, you can turn off all other settings except DOF...kinda.

 

You need to download the regular unedited original ENB from http://enbdev.com/download_mod_tesskyrim.htm I suggest 0.200. If you want the performance enhancement that goes with it WITHOUT graphics change, then go to http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38649//?

 

Then get a DOF file from another ENB. It's usually called enbeffectprepass.fx in case you didn't know. I suggest you experiment from K ENB DOFs Vault from http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30158//? , or use whatever you have.

 

You can open the enbseries.ini file in Notepad and copy/paste all of this (everything but dof off and all other settings put to lowest possible)

I only realized now you also wanted SSAO. You can copy/paste SSAO from another ENB preset, any one you like, to the ini file, or edit it in game. RealVision ENB has support for 0.200. Just use only it's enbseries.ini, and don't modify what you want to keep. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30936//?

 

If you want to use an ENB of a different series, you can try copy/pasting SSAO or DOF, or edit in game, but you'll most likely have to configure enbseries.ini by yourself. You should also delete the effect.txt from the folder, as it adds non-vanilla effects, too.

You can also edit it in game, (Enter+Shift) making everything false except EnableDepthOfField= UseOriginalPostProcessing= and UseOriginalObjectsProcessing= (the last two have to be true or it'll look grey) type zero for everything and make every ENB setting Low Quality (2).

 

You'll still see a performance hit, but much less than it would have been, and it'll look like regular Skyrim, I think. If you still want Antialiasing (AA), you should turn off your own and activate it in ENB. It's less performance hit but looks great.
