Gariondjr
I was going to get fallout on steam, but i wasn't sure about which version to get. There's the normal Fallout New Vegas, and then there's the Fallout New Vegas Ultimate edition which comes with all the DLC. Would it matter for mods if i got the Ultimate edition? Would that cripple my mod playing capabilities?Forgive me I am new and i want to get into playing modded FONV, so if i sound like an idiot on the subject, its because i am. tek27
You are better off with the FNV - Ultimate Edition because there are a lot of mods that require DLCs. Even if you did buy the version without the DLCs you will end up buying the DLCs anyways. Better off buying the whole pack, which is much cheaper that way. luthienanarion
"Ultimate Edition" contains the exact same files as the regular game and all the DLC if you purchase them separately. If you don't already own the game, there is no reason not to get UE.
