Gorgopis
Hello, We found a 2017 thread on this issue, but did not "necro" it, because it did not have the answer to our questions. The vanilla female head NIF models distinctly show the left eye opening larger than the right one. (We did not check to see if the male head NIF models have the same quirk.) We would like to fix it for our playthroughs, by practicing modding, not by downloading a mod, please. (We have also noticed that some otherwise fine NPC mods, even some based on high-poly models, continue the same mismatched eye openings as are found n the NIF female-head model. In one case, we found an NPC mod where the left eye opening in the modded NIF is notably larger than the asymmetrically large left one in the vanilla NIF. Makes for an odd in-game character appearance.) Note, please, while there may exist tutorials on modifying NIF's, we cannot be sure the community has observed this feature regularly enough to be familiar with it, when pursuing their own modding efforts. ++++ On a different but related note: perhaps the game-designers kept the asymmetry, thinking, "humans are not perfect." Or "Let's mess up the faces some more"? If this was the thinking, it ended in a logical error, because it simply made ALL females in the game have asymmetrical eyes, which is just as unrealistic as everyone having symmetrical ones. We're more inclined to think that the NIF model size eye-mismatch was an unintended oversight. In advance, thank you for help here.
