blommiiz
Hello there Nexus! As the topic says, i got a huge problem with blinking water, and annoying water sounds playing even when im not near any water. When im near water, the blinking and sounds both occur most often.I also have a problem at alot of places where im riding my horse and somehow i end up like 60 ft in the air, if i move i fall and my horse dies, this happens alot of times. Same with alot of outdoor mobs, i see a ton of mobs falling from the sky, and no, there's no giants tossing them up, its this weird thing making them appear in the sky just to fall down and die. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Here's my PC specs: Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130104-1431) Language: Swedish (Regional Setting: Swedish)System Manufacturer: MSI System Model: MS-7752 BIOS: BIOS Date: 06/19/12 10:26:56 Ver: 04.06.05 Processor: Intel® Core i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz Memory: 16384MB RAMAvailable OS Memory: 16330MB RAM Page File: 4137MB used, 28518MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: Using System DPI System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: DisabledCard name: AMD Radeon HD 7900 SeriesScreen: Asus 144hz (currently running 120hz) I got a pc for Ultra afaik, but if i have to sacrifice some quality to avoid these bugs i'll do it. I've tried turning Vsync on on my graphiccard, as well as tripple-buffering (read somewhere that that fixxed it for some), I've turned off water reflections. I also read somewhere that a hz-limit for 60 hz could do the trick, but i wanna ask here before i do that though.Hoping someone of you got a solution for me. Thanks in advance! psavola
using msi afterburner to limit fps (frames per second are not hz) to 59 (one below screen refresh rate to avoid screen tearing) fixed weird water bugs for me.it also fixed weird outdoor mob bugs and improved performance (why? no idea) by a lot. i cannot tell if it helps for you but... it's easy enough to use, run it, run game.. see if it improves.. and close it if you do anything else. davoz28
I have this problem as well. Just finished a new compy build that I knew would handle all the mods I could throw at it and the RealENB and I get this crap water flicker/glitch and annoying sound any time I'm by water. VERY annoying. BenQ 144hz monitor I'm running at 90 fps most of the time.
Teo265
All the problems you people are having is because of the FPS being too high. Skyrim's engine can't handle FPS over 60. Physics will start getting crazy and water starts flashing/bugging. Objects/NPCs flying is very common. The fix is simple: Turn VSync on, both in your .ini configs and possibly ENB if you are using one.

zartana
I wanted to chime in and both thank the posters and confirm what they have pointed out as the cause of this issue. I too have a Benq monitor and the glitchy water issues, etc. I turned my refresh down to 100 and they are gone. Thank you!
