secretaryforbes
Hi there! My request is fairly straightforward. I am looking for a retexture of the "Recon Armor" & "Recon Helmet". I wish to replace the standard olive/green version with a black version. (Suitable for the Enclave) Whether it is ultimately a texture replacer or an alternate outfit doesn't particularly matter to me so long as I can wear the black version in-game. I find the vanilla version to be quite ugly. This is my first request so please forgive me if there's something I missed. Attached in the link is exactly what I want but I couldn't figure out how to import that texture to Fallout New Vegas. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/480?tab=description
ashtonlp101
How about this? Or you could just put the textures from that mod into your NV folder and it will replace the vanilla ones. All you have to do is manually download and then use the file installer on your mod manager to install that mod. secretaryforbes
Thanks for the reply! I'll play around with the linked mod and give it a shot. I'll also try what you suggested. Many thanks!
secretaryforbes
For some reason, installing from file didn't work. :/
M48A5
After installing the textures, did you toggle Archive Invalidation? This is necessary anytime you make any changes to any texture.
secretaryforbes
I did not. I wasn't aware that was required. Up until now I had assumed that you made that change once and that was that. I'll see if it works. Regardless, thanks for the input!
