Shadeybladey
This is not 100% accurate Ah, OK! Thanks for that! This is a great place to learn new things, as well as refreshing your memory and buffing up on your knowledge and skills! Looking at my moids recently, I am amazed I ever made them, as i have mostly forgotten how! It's been quite a while since I made mods and I recalled following a guide, or the CK Wiki or something, when I made those sound files. I couldn't work out how to make them play except by replacing files like mus_bardlute_01 in ...Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\Data\Sound\fx\Mus\Bard. This worked pefectly for the Bardsong effects, but now ALL the Bards of Skyrim play my snippets! But they don't cause the magickal effects, like Mass Hysteria and Mayhem! Also do not bother yourself with ACT I, its just a simple and amateur mod that i did as an exercise to help me remember everything related to making mods, i was absent from modding for a few years. Yes, me too! I got a lot of help for the really clever bits, but it's amazing relearning what I even did to make the mods, nevermind how I did it! I think I'll try Act I anyway, as it's about 2 MB and Act II is 1.5 to 2.0 GB. I'll have to wait until I get a better ISP before I use big mods like that. Cheers! :D
maxarturo
@ Shadeybladey ACT II is exactly 2,29 GB (2.462.762.862 bytes). I tried to check your mods, but they are all set to 'Hidden'... Don't expect from ACT I anything fancy, heavy scripted or fascinating, it's just a simple mod... you will also need the PDF help file for this. Have a nice playthrough. Hypn0sef
I got it posted and seems like it's working without issue for the downloaders. (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/43947) I couldn't get it to work with any configuration of BSAs though. It's something like 2.2 GB so I couldnt keep it under 1.8 all in one so I tried replicating the Skyrim.bsas formatting, ' - Textures0' and so on, but things didn't render properly. I just packed it as loose files since it works on my machine without issue. How were you, Max, able to archive a 2.29GB mod? It's obviously possible since that's how the vanilla files work, I just can't figure it out. If people experience random CTD's or any instability like you were saying some experienced with yours prior to your tweaks, I'll look into re-archiving it.
