Accessing console - help please!

Please can an expert tell me how I can access the console in VR?

 

I use Oculus Quest (PC link so it behaves like a Rift). MO2. All the regular console keys don't open it, nor any imaginative guesses. I'm 100% used to using it in SSE.

 

I read that I could use +console in SteamVR's launch instructions for SkyrimVR, but that led to instant CTD.

 

I'm stumped.

I don't know. I always open it the normal way. With tilde key ~ I can hardly read it in my HMD so I view it in the monitor.
