RolfLarsson
Hey everyone, I made a thread like this in the general troubleshooting thread, but I think this is the more appropriate part of the forums. Anyway, I recently made the terrible decision to reinstall the game after I'd found the game CTD all the time (couldn't tell which mods conflicted), but I've run into a horrible problem. Even though I'm installing all the texture packs in the same order I did before (DLC, DLc Optimized, followed by installing TPC Pack via NMM), nothing is happening. No textures are being replaced. I'm given no option to redownload the official Hi Res DLC, and it seems like anything I'm adding in NMM is having zero impact on the game itself. Has anyone else run into this? TonyTitan
You won't receive an option to redownload any of your DLC's. Once you've purchased them, Steam will automatically download them again to your locally stored account. But why you're having the issue with NMM I am not sure. Have you tried simply extracting the archives into the Skyrim Data folder? And are you checking to make sure that your mods have been activated within Skyrim's launcher? I've heard, never experienced myself, but have heard that sometimes even though mods are checked and showing active within NMM....that they're not REALLY activated. I suppose it's a bug. But launch Skyrim from the play button in Steam, then check under the Data Files option.
