marius2k4
How do I reply to a post with a link, as someone did to one of mine? e.g., In response to post #7672975. All I've figured out so far is how to "quote" which does not link to the original in this manner. I'd like it to be nested back on the skyrimnexus forums so as to make things more comprehensible. Thanks in advance.
korun
this post this post just don't use the " / " on 1st url Edited March 26, 2013 by korun
marius2k4
That's how I link to the thread, but I'm talking about replying to a particular post, not whole thread.
DrakeTheDragon
This "in response to..." line is an automated feature of the Nexus-site-Nexus-forums intercommunication process. It seems right now there is no way to 'reply' to a post here in the forums so it will show up as a 'nested reply' on the sites. And no, the link you were given does 'not' link to the whole 'topic'. The "&p=..." part makes it go to an individual 'post' directly.Similarly you can right-click on the "#N" at the right top of each post and copy this url and use it as a direct link to the post. However, even typing down the whole line "In response to post " and then adding the "url" tag with the link is still highly unlikely to translate into a 'nested reply' on the Nexus-sites' side of things.
