Hi all,

 

I love this game! I love this mod. I cannot program but would love to learn in fact I am consider paying to learn.... but back to this mod.

 

In the bizarre year of 2021 this mod has stopped working because for some strange reason it has worked out that obse is now 21 and not 19... forgetting that obse 21 has been in use for a long time I cannot understand why the issue has only just arisen but it is the fault that the mod is displaying.

 

I have left comment on the mod page hoping that maybe if I am lucky the author may see the comment. But is there a workaround that anyone could recommend for me, please?

There's a couple of things you could try. I do not use that mod you do and I will get back to other options as there are loads of options and nice mods that will make it funnier really.

 

To avoid pressing OK for mass confirm but start with this one in you ini:

bAllowYesToAll=1

and also install Toggleable Quantity Prompt which is extremely handy and makes all trading fast and smooth and you do not need to confirm - Do you really want to sell those 3 tan jugs? YEEEEESS!!!!!!! Bloody hell, just...

 

You can try to install the latest OBSE, called xOBSE that is under development right now. OBSE 21 is 7 years old after all.

When I got to 100 Mercantile I started a shop in Chorrol and there is 2 of them, in the same spot and I used the newest one. Both do their job just fine so I recommend

You can set how much you want your stuff to sell at, but then it can get harder to get rid of the stuff but I like this mod a lot and set my sale to 120%. You can just dump everything in the sell chest if you do not want to bother, or put up 9 items on display while you are there unloading. This mod also increase the immersion making selling stuff to a more RP thing. You will be the richest merchant in Cyrodiil for sure.

 

The old one in the same spot is

Trade and Commerce

but it does not have the same feeling nor nice settings as the new one has but it does the job done and sell your stuff sooner or later. Put your stuff in any chest in the basement and it get sold some day. I used this one first before I switched to the new one.

 

Why wait to Mercantile 100? Well then you get payed full and I want it to be 100 before I used the shop.

 

A variant of the Luggage, the luggage companion will sell the stuff you put inside the 3rd draw.

 

Midas magic has 2 damn good spells for gold:

• One turns dead mobs into gold, depending on their level I guess, all between 8-600 gold
• The coin Seeker searches the area for gold and picks up all it finds

I execute those 2 spells from the

Enhanced Hotkeys

 

I never pick up my gold in Chorrol, as I have enough shinies in my inventory anyway. So I let it be and let the shop run itself and I use that box that hold the gold more or less as a bank for later use, one day, if any - Who knows? :wink:

I have 3M in my inventory and 5M in the shop right now. :D All very well earned.... :wink:
