Crashing on sneaking

Well so i had to re-install my game due to corruption through mods. so i done a fresh install installed the mods i wanted (all of which were installed Before The corrupt Skyrim game), and now when ever i play after a while i CTD When an actor sneaks Mainly during the CW quest line. In the papyrus log The last 4-7 lines has errors to do with the

" XXXSneakQuestScript.psc "

 

Here is what it says:

And this is somethimes on 20ish lines just repeating itself

Its a real pain because i don't want to sneak now fearing that ill CTD.

MY computer isn't the best i run skyrim from 17-50Fps outside and 45-90Fps inside

(im just going by SkSe fps counter) so its ok but it changes all the time.

I'm experiencing this same issue. I believe is has something to do with interesting NPCs or UFO but I am not sure. If anyone can find a way to fix this I would be greatly appreciative.

I can verify that its neither iNPC or UFO. I haven't used either of those since before my last several game directory wipes.

 

The thing is, I also believed I had fixed it after my last wipe, but I'm experiencing it again.

 

I thought the issue was related to Wearable Lanterns, but after unplugging the mods I had installed when the issue cropped up that one was ruled out. Now, unfortunately I can't remember which MOD I removed that did seem to resolve the issue. That was after all after two complete MODded game installs, and all I am certain of is that I did not include the crasher I identified at the time.

Ok. This is definitely got to have something to do with followers, and its way out of my league to diagnose.

 

I had Selene Kate https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12848 Following me into Bleak Falls Barrows. We entered in stealth, cleared the bandits around the campfire, and then when entering sneak mode the crashes began.

I went outside, dismissed Selene, reentered, and sneak, stand, sneak, stand, sneak, stand. All good...

Totally happening with Selene for me as well. I really like the mod but even fast travel with her has me CTD, I just use her to dance now lmao

Ive encountered similar instance but mine, i believe, is due to a glitch in the sneak/invisibilty skill he has. When i enter sneak so long as i dont move my guy is supposed to become invisible. these days rarely does this transition even trigger but when it does it causes a crash.

I had this same issue. It seemed to start or get worse as her relationship faction increased. With her relationship maxed CTD was about 90%. I eventually married and sent her home with the kids. Its unfortunate because Selene was super well done and had great perks as a follower. Might be my current favorite follower mod despite sneak crash.

 

**EDIT** Turning off her face light has been reported to stop the CTD.

I have been having the same problem. Went into Selene's MCM and shut off Facelight and so far so good, no crashes. It definitely started happening after she was my lover!! Just have to get a head lamp when intimate now!! I also love this Mod, used to have Toccata as my go to but Selene is much faster with healing and love the dance moves!!
