Finally. The v0.04b update is finished and released for The Companion friendly Hobbit Home

I would be very happy if you tried it and looked for any

Changes made in this version are:

  • Lag Reducing. Removed the advanced collisions internally that stroti added and replaced it with simple boxes in CS, using Maskar's Carpet. :wink:
  • Lag Reducing. Removed a couple of light resources. I do not like to do it but I must as performance is more important.
  • The Stutter Remover will make you walk in Syrup - So walking inside the house is smother without it.
  • Hobbit Home Settings button added between the entrance door and the ladder. It Toggles Autosave to and from Hobbit Home. It only works if I add the saving before using a portal or a door. Go to Anvil and a Save called GoingToTown will be created. (Will add AI settings here later on for all at the Friends List and also possibility to edit the list)
  • Changed the portal home so it summons a ladder called "Climb Home". The reason for that change is when you save the game during a scripted spell, makes that save unusable as you get stuck into the loading screen but it does fit better as you do climb out.
  • Oven Added in the Kitchen from Salmo's Shop
  • Baker and a Bartender added in the kitchen
  • Spell added to Hobbit Home Store traders: "Make a Friend" that adds the target to the Playerfaction.
  • Added loads of drinks and food to tables and plates. If you need a refill of food, get out from the top floor for 3 days and they respawn.
  • Added 3 beds temporary in the kitchen until I built servers quarters next to the future Library floor.
  • Added Smoke in the Chimneys - Odd, there are no other Chimneys with smoke coming from them in Anvil at least.
  • Added a Resurrection Spell, Expert Level to the Hobbit Home Store Traders. Do not target anything else then dead NPC or Dead creatures or the game will crash. I did test to resurrect a chest and ended up at desktop even if the spell tests the targets. Be careful with this spell.
  • Terrace added above the Hobbit Home. The plan is to allow the companions and staff to spend time there later on.
  • Made a Barbecue and added it at the terrace
  • Made a farm at the backside of the house and added loads of critters and flora to it.
  • Made a spell that works like a slaughters mask that only works on the critters at the your farm.
  • Added a spell that allows you to recall to a companion, which is useful if you wanna know what they are up to and where they did go if you lost them.
  • Added a refill button of the bottle rack in the kitchen. I thought it was gonna be easy and fast to do this but it took 6 days to make it work as intended
  • Added loads of paintings everywhere
  • Coffee Machine made and added in the kitchen, which allow you to make 3 different brands of this nice black hot liquid.
  • 3 different coffee cups added. They a food ingredients and do respawn.
  • Coffee plant made and added to the farm, 215 all together.
  • Coffee Bean added and mixed right, you will be able to make an extremely nice poison, which is almost overpowered but I only use it when I meet mobs that are almost impossible to kill, otherwise it is so strong, it will kill a blue whale within seconds.
  • Moved the Iron Section to my Dummy cell until the new room for it is made somewhere next to the Library area.
  • Deleted all "Work in Progress Signs"
  • Added a spell called Summon Stuff
  • Added a key cabinet at the entrance, next to the ladder
  • Made and added a couple of rugs
  • Made 4 Mark and Recall spells, with 9 Mark and recall each, which makes it 36 spots all together.
  • Made a quest for the Hobbit Home Settings
  • Made a spell called Hobbit Home Settings
  • Added possibility in the Hobbit Home Settings to Rename the Recall slots as some gets names like <No Name> or Shivering Isles if the cells are not named properly
  • Added possibility in the Hobbit Home Settings to toggle if you are in Tamriel or in Shivering Isles, with all proper Crime and Quest settings -> Exact copy of the gate to and from SI. Messages will tell you if you mark a spot in Tamriel or in Shivering Isles.
  • Added Goblum that follows the Caretaker (A Goblin)
  • Remade the Quest some, edited the logs and the reason why the player should go to Hobbit Home
  • Made the text in the Spell Book that adds the teleport spells, to be more in character, to keep immersion and to be part of the story.
  • A refill wine rack script. Put drinks, wine and beers and whatever in the Top Cabinet next to the rack and push the button. To make that script was more complicated than expected and it took 6 days to complete.
  • Added paintings every where
  • Added signs to the shop and named it to The Fence as that is what it is

v0.06b released

 

  • Looting Spells - 2 different spells allowing you to loot containers and dead bodies + all kind of clutter - I am so lazy these days and it goes fast.
  • Dynamic Chest and Item Sorter - 4 spells - Target a container and scan its content - Add stuff you do not want to be sorted to the no sort this container
    • Add chest
    • Remove Chest
    • Scan the chests
    • Sort the items from your inventory to the right chest
    • Possibility to list all chests and items added to the sorter in the House Settings
    • All spells for sale in the shop The Fence at the Display Room floor -> The basement
    • Sorting 700 items to 12 chests takes 2s
