I have asked him if he still had the box, but he said he threw it out a while ago... So in short... Does anyone have a Product Key they can share with me? Circuitous Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I'll agree that you don't need LIVE, but if it's causing you to crash you've got other (serious) problems. Some reasons to bother with LIVE:- use Windows Messenger in-game (if you have an MSN account, this works as well)- track in-game Achievements (yay, points!) Some reasons not to bother with LIVE:- increases game loading time- waits until you're in-game to perform updates (which require restarting)- steals the Home key- if you have an unstable or unkempt system, can cause crashes (seriously, if LIVE is making you crash, you have problems beyond LIVE). Edit: oh, and giving out a LIVE key probably counts as a form of piracy, and is definitely a violation of the EULA, so don't be surprised if no one helps you out.

deliverance6 Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 true enough ^^ but still, i can bet a good 75% of ppl who mod F3 and who play it on pc didn pay money for their copy lol i however did, my dvd was buggerd, and i ended up downloading a pirated copy anyway... rofl so technically ive brought the game but thanks largely to bethsoft's choice of DVD manufacturer i had to pirate it anyway...
