Bergzore
I'm putting tailoring in a mod I'm working on, but I'm not sure how I'm going to approach it... Here's the problem: 1-My magic mod will add robes to be tailored, but I'm not sure what crafting station to put them under because...2-My combat mod overhauls smithing; One change is that the two branches are completely separate--you can either get fur smithing or iron smithing as your first perk, so...3-I renamed the MISC category to HIDE and made adjustments to keywords, so hide armor falls under HIDE at the forge, and leather/leather strips fall under HIDE at the tanning rack (makes sense); and I renamed the HIDE category to FUR, and fur armor falls under that, so the result is...4-If I put robes to be tailored at the tanning rack, then they will fall under HIDE, which doesn't make sense because they're crafted from linen, and I can't rename the string to ROBES because it will send my smithing changes out of wack; there is one unused category at the forge that I could rename to ROBES, but then it wouldn't make sense to create robes at a forge... I'm stumped. If anyone's feeling creative, I'd heartily welcome any suggestions...
gsmanners
Maybe what you have there are two completely different mods. One is a kind of sewing machine (which you could make work with MCM or message boxes or whatever) and another one is a smithing overhaul mod.
