Mogashi
Can we have a thread with mod packs? Or if putting different mods in packs would be against rules, we could just post mods that works well together and show them off on YouTube or something. mindw0rk2
Would be cool to see 200+ mods compilation that works well together without crashes or any issues.

Furthermore, what exactly is it that you're trying to show off?
Supertron
making mod packs is not against the rules IF you get permission from each and every author to do so, or if they allow such a thing without asking for permission and simply just wish to be credited for their work. I have about 175 plugins atm. not perfect, but my game is very stable. making lists for people to download and adding instruction on how you can get thigns working together properly is the only way if you you can make these packs. but of course, it wouldnt really be a pack. Yogo
As an author of a small mod which is not easily noticed in the Nexus Ocean of mods I vote for Mod Packs and give permission to add my mod in advance :P And I think that many other modders will be glad to join. MilesTeg81
IMHO it would be a blessing to get a well tested pack of the most essential mods together. I always look back at my modded Baldurs Gate where you can get this incredible tool that let's you download and install the most stable mods (50+) in a few simple steps! While not that flexible, you at least got a rockstable game with an incredible amount of mods. Oblivion and Skyrim is modding hell compared to that.... AlberichMX
Yes, you can make mod packs with permission and like Yogo said you can start with small mods, hell someone can make another recopilation of good armors, spells, weapons or good old mods into a single esp or esm, this can revive some of the mods and being an atractive mod because you only use one esp or esm. gsoravil
+1 for Mod Packs. I haven't Skyrim'd in months (pre DLCs) and now I am loaded up and ready for starting with a new character. A nice, convenient way to drop in a pile of compatible mods to freshen up the look would be ideal. Right now I am all but lost in the sea of mods here on Nexus. Heck, I might look at a screen shot for bikinis to go with tropical skyrim and see nicer bodies and faces, yet have no idea where to look for them. Def could use the help of one or more mod packs to ease the burden. At least a basic mod pack, like CBBE Curvy + popular compatible mods. Anything to help us noobs. Thanks! IsharaMeradin
I'm not too keen on the idea of mod packs. By definition a mod pack is a group of mods distributed together that work well together. On the Nexus system the person getting the downloads and credit for their efforts would be that one who re-uploaded the mods into a single grouping rather than the authors of the mods. Such large files and being repeats of existing mods would add an unnecessary strain to the servers. Not to mention that mods in the mod packs may not always be kept up to date. Also, one person's idea of a good mod pack is not the same as everyone else's. There are many many mods on the Nexus that I wouldn't use but many others insist on having them. I'd rather be able to hand pick my mods one at a time to suit my taste rather than having to download a bunch of other mods because of one or two mods that I wanted from a pack. The best and only solution would be a listing of mods in working load order with detailed instructions on installation and links to the original mod description pages.
