Weather monitoring/control station

Now that I have released the initial version of my mod (Spectacle Island - The Institute Reborn), my mind seems fixated on adding additions instead of moving on to a new project. For example, I like the idea of adding a weather monitoring/control station to the Spectacle Island complex. It seems plausible that the Institute Advanced Systems Division could develop the capability to control the weather. Specifically, dissipate any radiation storms should they form in the vicinity of the Island. The game supports the concept via Fallout 4 add-on Contraptions Workshop (i.e., Weather change shells and WorkshopFireworkMortars).
Implementation concept:
  1. Build a Weather Monitoring/control Station building (probably on the rooftop of one of the existing buildings
  2. Add Institute style/vault consoles inside the station for visual effect
  3. Add desk and functioning terminal (e.g., terminal is used to energize the weather monitoring functionality
  4. Add a small power source connected to a switch. Connect the switch to a mortar (WorkshopFireworkMortar) which is preloaded with a number of weather change shells (FireworkShellWeatherClear).
  5. Develop a script which monitors the condition of the weather and opens the switch if a radiation storm is detected.
  6. Finalize the setup with a nice tower/mast for visual effect. The tower from Fallout New Vegas’s weather monitoring station would look great here

Shame one can’t just use the model (nif) from FONV as it would simplify/speed the workflow. Otherwise a similar one could be recreated in modeling software. Alternatively, FO4 assets could be cobbled together (castle tower; GNN HQ tower, etc) to achieve the desired effect.
If anyone sees a flaw in the concept please give a shout. Also, ideas for a better mousetrap is always welcomed and appreciated.

Okay, so implementing this concept wasn't too complicated. For the monitoring part, terminal ==> power supply ==> switch ==> fireworks mortar. Uncle Chubby's Electronics mod had a radiation storm monitoring switch, plus he has graciously allowed others to use his mod for their projects. When the switch detects a radstorm it allows power to flow to the fireworks mortar which then lauches a clear weather round into the air.

While some final tweaking is still being done, here are a few WIP hots.
