Nirukii
Hey Everyone, I'm having issues trying to get Dual Sheath Redux to work. I have skyui, skse, and all of the other requirements, however, they also tell me to use a skyproc program like SUM. I have SUM and BOSS, but when I run SUM, it tells me it can't ind BOSS. I try to locate it, and SUM says it's the wrong file, ect. Now, when I run sum, it tells me flat out BOSS cannot be located and does not even give me an option to go find it. I'm at a loss here guys, what do I do?
korun
from mod author description page: 3. Run the installed Dual Sheath Redux Patch.jar (Alternatively, you may use SUM). This should be done AFTER all mods that add base weapons, staves, or shields are installed(including other SkyProc mods such as Lootification) and every time one of said mods are added, updated, or removed. are you sure you must use SUM? are you using any SkyRe mod @@ Edited March 31, 2013 by korun
Nirukii
No, I'm not sure if I must use SUM, as I'm note sure what to do at all. I opened the .jar, but the logs that it generated all tell me that a patch is needed.
korun
Run the installed Dual Sheath Redux Patch.jarrun the .jar like a .exe, you need last Java update i think to make it work properly and it will generate the patch you need@@
Nirukii
OK, I ran the .jar and I found a Dual Sheath Redux Patch that's 1KB. is that what I need? It seems a little too small to be of any use to me.
Nirukii
update: I got the mod to "work" in the sense that I don't see the error message at the start of the screen, but I can't see my 2nd weapon, and my shield isn't on my back. I put the 1 KB patch in a zip file and sent it to my NMM list, but I still feel that the patch is simply too small to do anything, but since there is a patch that the game can detect. korun
the patcher works for all armor / weapons mod you added to your game. this way Dual will recognised them. but are you using this : XP32 skeleton ? it's requested and probably the reason it doesn't work so far @@

cubbycrusader
I'm also having problems with this, though mine being that my java won't run the .jar file, i had to unzip it with winzip and even then, my java won't run the patcher inside, when i click on the various things, it pops up a command page with some text on it then drops it real uick, from what i can tell it says something about not being able to find the file i just clicked on. Some help would be greatly appreciated.
korun
I am using XP32 custom skeleton with back hip daggerif you are already using a skeleton which change the behavior it can't work, you must use a skeleton + Dual, or the one with the dagger @@
