Modified item wrong place? Nif help

Hello guys, i just picked a torch (at creation kit) and change its meshe by a Staff from other mod.

Everything worked good, but in game the STAFF IS NOT AT THE RIGHT PLACE. Intead being at my character hand (as a torch) it is lay at the floor frozen. Whats wrong? I already tried everything at NIFSKOPE but im a noob. Please help!
