kyleford2012
This is what has happened. Annoying little bug, i have skyrim update to 1.9. Just gone to level up and this has happened, not sure where it came from or what caused it. Any help?? http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/3222/tesv20130331223946149.pngUploaded with ImageShack.us
Valkyrie
Verify your files thru Steam. Make sure ya dont have any mods that effect that screen. Those look like html color codes.
kyleford2012
I have a retail copy, not steam. And the only mods i have are: Water Ehancher, and all the DLC's. Which none of them are affecting this screen as i have turned them off and tried, but still same result.
psavola
i think this has been argued somewhere before but.. as far as skyrim goes, there is nothing but steam version. (legal anyway)yes, you can have retail copy of it but it will install/need steam and work through that.
SineWaveDrox
Exactly what psavola said. Skyrim only runs through Steam. When the game initially launched, once it was activated in Steam, it could be run without Steam, due to an oversight or something. That was quickly patched though, so it is impossible to run 1.9 without Steam. Legally, anyway.
Lisnpuppy
Even a legally retail purchased Skyrim (like I got from Gamestop when I got mine) MUST be activated on Steam..from then on in theory, you could run Steam on off-line mode....but as soon as you switched that it would update. So if you did not activate your game through Steam there is a problem.~Lisnpuppy
