Adras
I've many. I got the Multi-Marking mod and I have 2 ashlander yurts (had to kill them for House Hlaalu I think) in the middle of nowhere (not even by a Ashlander Camp) and several houses here and there. I have them all in my marking so I just hop between them. Like in onme yurt I have all me weapons, and in another I have alchecmy stuff and ingeredients. So I really live nowhere, but my stuff is everywhere, yet still in my control.
eviljim
i considered having houses in multiple towns but that would've made it way too hard to move stuff when rearranging.
mrpyromania
I store my items in my PMB. Where is it located? Any where I want to be. Plenty of storage, and all kinds of nifety stuff. Its not unbalancing either, beacuse to buy the keys that unlock the doors to various rooms and services, costs big Gold.
Adras
But you can only move it to the cities with Mages Guilds unless there is an updated one form the one I had.
eviljim
might i ask what "PMB" is?
Maquissar
I think he refers to a Personal Mobile Base or something like that - not in the original Morrowind, it's a plugin. As for my place of RESIDENCE... well, I'd rather call it place of STORAGE, becauseI don't think anyone actually LIVES somewhere - he just stops by to drop his items, and then goes on to have another adventure. However, I start with Foryn Gilnith'sshack, then move on to Caius's house in Balmora... and then, well, whatever's available. The Redoran manor, when I complete all the Redoran quests. (I seldomever play Hlaalu or Telvanni - I have got to make new experiences in Morrowind someday! lol) Also... I stopped playing Morrowind a few months ago and I still have to resume it-I finally found my Tribunal CD and I will soon proceed to make a fresh install - butI was about to get the Factor's house (Bloodmoon expansion) before I quit. I've never actually seen it, but that doesn't sound bad as a residence - besides, I loveNorse cultures so I'd probably reside in Solstheim if I had to choose a permanenthouse :)
Adras
Private Moblie Base. I thought it was great except for the fact that you had to pay TONS of money to get the thing, then to be able to just move it, you had to get Golden Saint Soul Gems. I can understand a lot of money to buy it, but that was a bit much for someone whom isnt like level 70... Just my opinion. but I still think that the layout is great, wont argue that point. eviljim
... in my last game i lived all over the place, somtimes taking over caves with many barrells and boxes to store items inside.i used alot of caves my first time around too. some of them have massive storage space. i just found it too hard to get back to them. i spent most of my time raiding dungeons and when you're 150 over your weight limit you can't feather your way into the middle of nowhere. if you kill someone in a town and take their house you can always use the mage's guild or a silt strider to get to it.
