[LE] i start creation kit and it only pops up the render window

i have tried reinstalling the creation kit for skyrim SE and every time i open it up the creation kit loading box pops up and then when it goes away the render window opens up nothing else not even the main screen with the tabs and menus. i have reinstalled several times and tried checking the stability and repairing anything. i even tried restarting the whole system and still does the same thing. my creation kit for fallout 4 works perfectly. if anybody has any ideas i would be very appreciative.

It could be just that the windows are all minimised. This hapopened to me once with the CK for SLE.

 

I think I brought them back using Task Manager to go to the active CK.

Check also your CreationKitPrefs.ini in the Skyrim main folder. There are entries for position, width and height of all CK windows, e.g.:

Creation Kit X=0
Creation Kit Y=0
Creation Kit W=1920
Creation Kit H=1080
Render Window X=90
Render Window Y=125
Render Window W=1494
Render Window H=875

Set all x and y positions to 0. Maybe you can get the windows back this way.

Sometimes the main window starts hidden behind the render window.

Go up to the tool bar and click on 'View'. A drop down box will apear. Checkmark the items you want to see whken CK opens.

Resize your display and make it larger.
