Amineri Posted April 3, 2013 Share Posted April 3, 2013 I've been looking into modifying how the Funding Council missions work, or at least trying to understand them I've discovered that each mission has a hard-coded set of rewards. Most of them are absolutely fixed. The cash reward is randomized, but it is randomized when the mission is created. If the same FC mission were completed more than once per playthrough, it would have exactly the same (randomized) cash reward. I'm not sure if the current set-up allows a FC Mission to be completed more than once, though. johnnylump Posted April 3, 2013 Share Posted April 3, 2013 (edited) For what it's worth, XGStrategyAI.AddCouncilMission() sets the frequency of council missions (along with the ini settings). I assume the number of those you get is later randomized, 'cause I clearly remember a game where I got 5 scientitst as a reward twice in a row...
