Using Chrome. Average 1,000KB/s download speeds on CDN and LA servers which are closest to me. Feels capped, but sometimes exceeds 1MB/s by a little. Small files around 200MB download at 3-4MB/s which is more reasonable. Speedtest.net results show 477mbps download speeds, or around 59MB/s. Tested downloads on Steam and Google Drive, both give upwards of 30MB/s. Restarted PC, logged in/out, no other downloads running in background. Pickysaurus
Hi Skull Assassin, Sorry to hear about this issue and thanks for going through the troubleshooting. As you speed is consistently bad for all our servers around the world it unfortunately indicated the connection problem may not be something we can fix. You could try a VPN or reporting the issue to your ISP. I suspect there is some kind of bad routing between your PC and our servers, this seems to happen a lot since the pandemic as ISPs are using "cheaper" routes to keep their costs down. With your Premium membership, you're not being capped at all from our side. The CDN option actually links to an entirely new server cluster we're trying out so if the speed is slow there too I'm afraid it's not something we can fix from our side. Let me know if you have any luck with a VPN (if you have access to one).
