I am new to blender and I'm trying to take parts of weapons and armor to mix and match. first thing you need to know is I have a extremely hard time processing info I can do it but I'm slow. I learn easier with a video going step by step showing what needs to be done. the reason for all this is I'm trying to get blender to work but when I try to import meshes but I get this error.

I got python 2.6.6 downloaded. I'm completely lost and need help from others please.

You are using the wrong version of Blender and possibly all of the other tools you need.

 

See: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/12248 Read all the instructions and follow the installation sequence as it is written. The installation sequence is important.

 

Also, instead of installing in the default location, I installed all of the programs in C:\, not "Program Files". I have been using it for years installed directly on the C drive with no problems.

 

If you search "Blender" in the Oblivion mods page, you can find tutorials for using Blender. You can also find tutorials on youtube.com. There is also tutorials at Blender.org

 

The link to YafRay,org does not work. If you want to use it (I don't), you might be able to find it with GOOGLE or DuckDuckGo.

 

I know you are talking about Fallout: New Vegas, the tools are the same for Oblivion, FO3 and FNV.
