Digging through the .bsa's, you find some interesting stuff. The Sand Wolves now have babies in their camp

Oh dear, I can tell that's going to lead to some kind of moral dilemma already.

Or will it??? ....

The Sand Wolves are inspired by the Apaches, and for many players they're probably in between the Dead Horses and White Legs in terms of bellicosity, morality, etc.

The NCR's mining town, Silverwood, is populated by settlers who are not keen on sharing the canyon with the Sand Wolves.

Even for one of your lesser mods, this is absolutely ambitious and EPIC in comparison to many things in the game. Excellent is what comes to mind. I am a die-hard fan of yours, Someguy2000, and I am seriously sorry that I can't endorse you due to financial issues.

Thanks, brother. While the quest content is probably comparable to The Inheritance in scope, the amount of roleplaying opportunities and sheer volume of dialogue is staggering. Every single day I find myself adding lines and scripted barks to Russell's dialogue, and it's a blast recording it. I'm looking forward to the release!

Russell could very well have 1,000+ lines of dialogue, just for the title character.

Here's a small update as we roll into the weekend (and I should have free time to make headway):

- Wrote and implemented dozens of new lines for Russell

- Partially navmeshed the new worldspace

- Added a saloon, general store, and sheriff's office to the town

- Utilized some of the voice assets from Honest Hearts for the tribal VO

- Implemented generic, functioning traders (I'll try to add a physician to the town and shaman to the village)

- LOD issues are largely resolved in Caruthers Canyon (Joshua trees notwithstanding):

Oh jeez, that would make me feel like a horrible person.... Or will it? XP

I wonder if raiders had babies, would people love to kill them as much?

I think we would feel more pity for raider babies...Or disgust

More updates:

- The canyon is now populated by a variety of critters, making full use of the randomized spawns found in the vanilla files (thank you, Oscuro). Players may encounter Bighorners, coyotes, dogs, geckos, radscorpions, etc.

- Random patrols and hunting/war parties from both the town and the village are in place, making chance skirmishes a possibility.

That's it. More roles will be added to the cast, as I'll be needing the following (still a WIP)

- A sheriff

- A mayor

- Sand Wolves chieftain

Thanks for the comments and support!

I used one of those mods that lets you kill kids (I'm not sure thats meant to be the main purpose of it, but there you go)

Anyway, I chopped it up to add raider kiddies to the spawn lists, makes the game feel a bit more 'grey' in terms of morality.

It really makes you question if you're comfortable with attacking raiders for a little while, maybe adding a baby or two to the main base camps would add a bit of extra flavour.

Now, if they can be added to some kind of area which is only inhabited by scared women and the babies, it'd make the player even more concerned about the choices they could potentially make regarding clearing out the camps... (I know, I'm a horrible person already, not need to tell me)

I've tried to aim for the idea of maximum reality in my game, unfortunately I've seen and heard of enough instances of kids being used as soldiers to know this is fairly common practice in some areas of the world. That's why I love this game, you can make it so horribly deep and dark if you want to.

EDIT:

Sorry for taking your thread off track someguy, but I personally get the feeling that your mods feed off the horrible greyness in term of morality that the world seems to suffer from, seemed like I could mention it here.
